Motor tanker hits temporary steel bridge in Samal-Davao connector project

A motor tanker carrying nearly 1,000 tons of coconut oil hit a temporary steel bridge on the Samal-Davao connector project currently under construction on Samal Island.
Initial inspection of the area showed no signs of an oil spill, but the steel bridge was damaged, according to a GMA Integrated News Bulletin on Sunday night. Further details were not immediately available.
